WHO WE ARE

MORE THAN A GYM

Helping People Become Stronger for Life

Beyond Limits was created around a simple idea: fitness should make your life better outside the gym. Looking better can absolutely be part of the reason someone starts training, but it should not be the only measure of success.

For us, progress is also having more energy, feeling confident in your body, being able to do things you had started avoiding and knowing that your health is supporting the life you want to live.

Life Balance

Your Health Should Help You Live More, Not Take Over Your Life

We do not believe fitness needs to become another full-time job. The point is to build enough strength, fitness and confidence that the rest of life becomes easier to enjoy.

For one member, progress might be returning to sport. For another, it might be getting through a workday with more energy, travelling without worrying about what their body can handle or remaining independent as they get older. Those outcomes matter just as much as anything that can be measured on a set of scales.

01

Our Vision

A world where health is valued above aesthetics.

02

Our Mission

To transform 100,000 local lives through health, fitness and wellness.

Our Values

Our Core Values

01

People Over Performance

We measure success by how people feel, move and live, not by how they look. Every decision we make puts the whole person first.

02

Coach First, Always

We care enough to challenge you, honest enough to tell you the truth, and professional enough to put your long-term progress above your short-term comfort. We are your coach before we are your friend.

03

Your Third Place

Beyond Limits is where you belong, beyond home, beyond work. A community that shows up for each other, celebrates each other and makes the hard days easier just by being there.

04

Better Every Decade

We believe the best years of your life are still ahead of you. We train for the long game, building strength, mobility and capability that compounds with age rather than diminishes.

Team

Meet the Team

Justin Borg

Founder and Owner | Master Functional Trainer | Rehabilitation Trainer

Justin founded Beyond Limits to create the kind of gym he believes people actually need: somewhere they receive real coaching, feel part of a community and can train for long-term health rather than short-term extremes. His own experience across strength, endurance and competitive fitness continues to shape the way he coaches.

Ella Peberdy

Strength and Conditioning | Olympic Lifting

Ella focuses on helping people build solid foundations, improve technique and progress without rushing the process. Her coaching style suits members who want clear guidance and a strong understanding of how their training is developing.

Kaila Duff

Strength and Conditioning | Pilates | Female Wellness | Olympic Lifting

Kaila brings together strength coaching, Pilates, female wellness and Olympic lifting experience. That combination gives her a broad perspective on helping women build strength while also improving control, mobility and confidence.

Mitchell Poller

Strength and Conditioning | Olympic Lifting | Boxing | Sport-Specific Training

Mitchell works with members who want to improve strength, fitness, power and athletic performance. His broad coaching background makes him equally comfortable helping everyday members build confidence or working with people who have more specific sporting goals.

TWO WAYS TO TRAIN

Coaching That Fits You Better

Beyond Limits keeps the service offering simple. There are two main ways to train with us: Small Group Training and Semi-Private Personal Training. Both are led by qualified coaches and both are designed to give you more guidance than you would receive from a standard gym membership.

The main difference is how personalised you want the training to be. Some people love the energy and variety of a group. Others want their own program and a coach working more closely with them. If you are not sure which one suits you, that is something we can work out together during your introduction.

Session Types

Session Types include Strength, Functional Movement, Boxing, Pilates, CrossFit Style, Hybrid and a monthly Meditation & Sound Healing.

We also have sessions for Teens and Primary School Children.

Semi-Private Personal Training

Your Own Program With a Coach Close By

Semi-private training is designed for people who want more individual attention without paying for one-to-one personal training every session. A coach works with a maximum of three people, and each person can follow a program built around their own goals.

Because the group is so small, the coach can spend more time on technique, progression and the details that matter to you. Weekly check-ins, nutrition support and program adjustments can also form part of the service, making it a strong option for people who want more accountability.

What Is Included

  • Maximum 1-to-3 coach-to-member ratio
  • Personalised programming
  • Close technique support
  • Weekly check-ins
  • Progress tracking
  • Goal reviews
  • Nutrition guidance
  • Program adjustments
  • Ongoing accountability

Who Semi-Private Training Suits

Semi-private training can be a good fit if you have a specific goal, are returning after injury or a long break, prefer a quieter environment or know that you need someone to keep a closer eye on your progress. It can also work well for friends, couples or family members who want to train at the same time while still following individual programs.

Semi-Private Personal Training

Which Option Is Right for You?

Small Group Training is usually the better fit if you enjoy training with other people, like variety and want a regular timetable with professional coaching. Semi-Private Personal Training makes more sense if you want your own program, closer technique support and more regular progress check-ins.

You do not need to make that decision before you contact us. Tell us what you want to achieve and how much support you think you need, and we will help you choose the right starting point.

Come as You Are

Beyond Limits is for busy professionals, parents, beginners, older adults, people returning after setbacks and people who simply know they need to start looking after themselves again. You do not need to look a certain way or already feel confident in a gym.

You just need to be willing to start from where you are. We can help with the rest.
