Thrive

For Women
Feel Strong in the Body You Are In
Thrive is for women who want to feel strong, healthy and capable for the long term. It is not built around a six-week transformation or the idea that your body needs to look the way it did ten or twenty years ago. It is about giving you the strength and fitness to handle the life you have now, while preparing your body for the years ahead.
Women are often balancing a lot at once. Work, family, pregnancy, motherhood, hormonal changes and the simple fact that recovery can feel different all affect how training fits into life. Thrive gives you a structured, supportive place to train without the pressure of extreme programs or unrealistic expectations.

Built Around Real Life
Your Training Should Change as Your Life Changes
The way you trained at 25 may not suit you at 40 or 50, and there is nothing wrong with that. Your available time may be different, your body may recover differently and the priorities you have outside the gym may be completely different. Good training takes those things into account rather than pretending they do not exist.
Thrive combines strength, fitness, mobility and sensible progression so you can keep improving without feeling as though you need to train harder and harder just to keep up. The goal is to help you feel more confident in what your body can do and more prepared for the physical demands of everyday life.

Why Strength Comes First
Strength Is About More Than Lifting Weights
Being stronger can make ordinary life easier. It can mean carrying your child without worrying about your back, lifting a suitcase on holiday, feeling steadier on your feet or having enough energy left at the end of the week to actually enjoy your weekend. It can also change the way you think about your body, because progress becomes something you can feel and do, not just something you see in a mirror.
That is why strength sits at the centre of Thrive. We still care about fitness, mobility, recovery and general health, but we want women to experience the confidence that comes from becoming physically capable.

Wherever You're At
Training Through Different Stages of Life
There is no single version of what progress should look like. Thrive is built to move with you.
01
Building Strength After 35
For many women, the biggest challenge is not knowing what exercise to do. It is finding a way to make training part of life again after years of putting other priorities first. Thrive provides structure and coaching so you can return without feeling as though you need to make up for lost time.
You can begin with simple movements, lighter loads and a manageable schedule. As your confidence grows, so does the challenge. The aim is steady progress that fits around your life, not a short burst of effort that leaves you burnt out.
02
Before and During Pregnancy
Building strength and general fitness before pregnancy can give you a useful physical foundation for the changes ahead. During pregnancy, the approach needs to be more individual, with training adjusted around how you are feeling, how the pregnancy is progressing and any medical advice you have been given.
We do not treat pregnancy as a reason to stop moving, but we also do not treat it as a time to chase performance. The priority is appropriate exercise, good communication and making sensible adjustments as your body changes.
03
Returning After Childbirth
Coming back to exercise after having a baby is different for every woman. Strength, energy, sleep, confidence and available time may all look very different from before pregnancy, so there is little value in rushing the process or comparing yourself to someone else.
Thrive gives you a supportive environment to rebuild gradually. Where appropriate, we may recommend medical or allied health guidance before or during your return so the training can reflect what your body actually needs.
04
Perimenopause and Menopause
Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes in sleep, energy, recovery and body composition, and those changes can make old routines feel less effective. This is often when women are most vulnerable to extreme advice promising a quick fix.
Thrive takes a more practical approach. Strength training, sensible conditioning, mobility, recovery and consistency all matter, and the program can be adjusted as your needs change. The aim is not to fight your body. It is to keep it strong and capable through the transition.
05
Beyond Menopause
Training after menopause is about more than managing symptoms. It is about building the physical qualities that support an active life for decades to come. Strength, balance, mobility and cardiovascular fitness can all contribute to how confidently you move, travel and stay involved in the things you enjoy.
There is no reason to assume your strongest years have to be behind you. The way you define strength may change, but the opportunity to keep improving is still there.
Two Ways to Train
Choose the Environment That Suits You
Thrive is available through our small group sessions and through ladies-only semi-private personal training. Both options are coach-led, but they offer a different level of individual attention, so you can choose the environment that feels right for you.
Groups Capped at 12
Thrive Small Group Training
Small group training gives you the motivation of training with other people while still having a coach involved throughout the session. Groups are capped at 12 and sessions can include strength, conditioning, Pilates, functional performance, hybrid training, mobility work, monthly yoga and meditation.
This is a good fit if you enjoy variety, like the energy of a group and want professional guidance without needing a fully personalised program every session.
Ladies-Only Timeslot
Ladies-Only Semi-Private Training
If you would feel more comfortable in a smaller female-only setting, Beyond Limits also offers a ladies-only semi-private training timeslot. Sessions are limited to three women, and each person can work through an individual program while the coach provides close support.
This option can work particularly well if you are returning after time away, have a more specific goal or simply prefer a quieter environment with a little more personal attention.

No Single Version of Progress
What Would Feeling Stronger Change for You?
For one woman, it may mean more energy. For another, it may be feeling confident enough to return to sport, travel more, get through a busy week without feeling depleted or simply stop worrying that getting older automatically means becoming less capable. There is no single version of what progress should look like.
Thrive is there to help you work towards the version that matters to you. The goal is not perfection. It is to feel better equipped for your life.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience with strength training?
No. Thrive is suitable for women who are completely new to strength training as well as women who have trained before. Your coach will help you begin at the right level.
Is Thrive only for women going through menopause?
No. Thrive is for women over 35 across a range of life stages, including general fitness, pregnancy preparation, returning after childbirth, perimenopause, menopause and the years beyond.
Do you offer ladies-only training?
Yes. A ladies-only semi-private training timeslot is available. Contact the team for the current schedule and availability.
Can I train while pregnant?
You should speak with your doctor or relevant health professional before training during pregnancy. Your coach also needs to know so your sessions can be reviewed and modified appropriately.
What if I feel uncomfortable in gyms?
That is more common than you might think. Book an introduction first, meet the team and talk through your concerns. You do not need to commit to anything before you understand how the training works.

Your Health Does Not Have to Keep Sitting at the Bottom of the List
You do not need to wait until work calms down, the family needs less from you or you suddenly feel completely motivated. Start with a conversation and we will help you find a way to train that fits the life you have now.
